On Friday the Elliott School held an open house for admitted students to visit and find out more about academic programs, courses, opportunities outside the classroom, and life as a graduate student at GW. It was wonderful to finally be able to put each face to a name after working with our applicants through the process. Thanks to everyone who attended for helping to make it such a great day!
Prospective students got a chance to speak with faculty, staff, and current students throughout the day. Faculty presented lectures on current issues in the field of international affairs, program directors spoke about their course requirements, an academic and career services panel spoke about study abroad and career development, current students and alumni shared their experiences with the Elliott School, and our student organizations presented information about their activities.
The Graduate Student Forum (GSF) is one of our student orgs. Here they are at their table, getting ready to speak to admitted students at the open house. Find out a little more about them on their webpage or Twitter feed.
